COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) Response

Crossroads Counseling Services, Inc. is committed to the safety and well-being of community members. As such, we are following all recommendations from the Center for Disease Control, the Ohio Department of Health, and the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and are actively engaged in communication with local and state authorities. Crossroads recognizes that, in times of stress and uncertainty, our services are more important than ever. As such, Crossroads Counseling Services, Inc. remains fully operational and all services, including assessment, individual and group counseling, and residential services are still available. In order to ensure the safety and health of our clients, staff, and community, we have made the following adjustments to our care:

DRIVER INTERVENTION PROGRAM

At this time, the Driver Intervention Program classes scheduled for March 19-22, 2020 and April 2-5, 2020 at the Candlewood Suites in St. Clairsville, Ohio have been postponed. Clients registered for the Driver Intervention Program during those classes will be contacted to reschedule. Additionally, clients may contact our DIP Coordinator at dip@cxroadscounseling.com with questions or concerns regarding rescheduling. Crossroads will continue to monitor recommendations from the state of Ohio and will update the Crossroads website and Facebook page accordingly.

OUTPATIENT SERVICES

Outpatient services are still proceeding as scheduled. However, individuals who are practicing social distancing or are quarantined due to exposure will be able to access mental health and addiction care via telephone call or video calling. Group therapy will be held over video conferencing or through other tele-health methods. Clients should call their usual Crossroads office for more information on this process.

AWAKENINGS WOMEN'S RESIDENTIAL & NEW OUTLOOK MEN'S RESIDENTIAL

Both Awakenings and New Outlook are open and accepting new clients. All prospective clients will be screened for symptoms of the COVID-19 virus. Those individuals exhibiting symptoms will be rescheduled for admission at a later date. Clients currently in residence during the outbreak are continuing to receive all services at the facilities and practicing social distancing. This includes temporarily restricting visitors and weekend passes for our clients until further notice.

During times of uncertainty, it is common for individuals to feel a higher than usual amount of stress and anxiety. Crossroads Counseling Services, Inc. is available to all community members during this time. If you or someone you love needs mental health or addiction services, please call us. We are here to help.
